Original 12-469 Ghost Box "Shack Hack" Radio - Hard to Find - Sweeps Bands for EVP: $85 plus shipping (US Cont.)
This is a vintage Radio Shack AM/FM radio that has been altered to continuously sweep either band. The audio noise it
generates increases the amount of ghost and spirit voices (EVP) that can be heard audibly and recorded.
This radio creates raw audio and white noise to bring ghost voices through! This ghost box radio conversion by the Fringe
Technology Store causes the AM or FM bands to be swept through repeatedly. It creates a barrage of audio fragments and
white noise which increases the ability to record ghost voices (EVP). It is well known by Electronic Voice Phenomena
experimenters that producing white noise can help the voices of ghosts to be recorded. The ghost box produces much more
audio evidence of two-way communication than other methods. The alteration was performed on an older Radio Shack radio
and re-assembled. This is the hard to find, original "Radio Shack Hack" version of the ghost box without the speaker built-in. It
(along with the 12-470) is the most desirable of the Radio Shack hack models because it has a faster sweep and "no ticking" on

You will need to use an audio recorder (digital preferred) in order to capture and review messages. Still, it is sometimes
possible to hear messages within the audio "live" while operating the device. We also recommend the use of an inexpensive (or
